and, while every attempt has been made to ensure accuracy, we apologise if we
have unintentionally included any erroneous information.
Records – Although an index of Scottish records up to 2013 is available, it is
only possible to view full register entries for marriages before 1940 and
deaths before 1965.
Records – the most recent census available is 1911.
Military Records – only around 40% of WW1 service
records still exist, the remainder having been destroyed during a bombing raid
