For Information

Statutory Records – Although an index of Scottish records up to 2013 is available, it is only possible to view full register entries for marriages before 1940 and deaths before 1965.

Census Records – the most recent census available is 1911.

Military Records – only around 40% of WW1 service records still exist, the remainder having been destroyed during a bombing raid in WW2.
